Operating from the banks of the Happy Valley Reservoir, hire one of our single or family kayaks and set off on your own adventure. Explore more than 110 hectares of water and shoreline in one of our comfortable, sturdy, sit on top kayaks. Discover hidden bays and shorelines, surrounded by stunning native flora and fauna, including more than 90 species of land and water birds.
Pricing
Kayak hire includes life jackets (PFD’s), deluxe seats, aluminium paddles and paddle ropes.
SINGLE KAYAK: Seats 1 person (max weight limit 120kg)
DOUBLE KAYAK: Seats up to 2 adults and one child under 5 years (max total weight limit 200kg)
Children under 10 years must ride in a double kayak with an adult.
Opening Hours
9AM – 12 noon: WEEKENDS & PUBLIC HOLIDAYS
We have temporarily reduced our hours and are currently only open on weekends. If you are looking to book outside of these days, please give me a call as we always try to accommodate customer requests where possible.
Please note- Our opening times are subject to weather conditions. If wind is forecast to be over 20km/hr we will cease operations to ensure our customers safety.
Bookings
Bookings can be made online via our website or face to face bookings can be made on the day at the Wild Pack Kayaks Collection & Hire Point at the Happy Valley Reservoir.
Customers are asked to read the terms and conditions and sign our Rental Agreement to agree to these terms before hiring.
Fishing Facts
Yes, you can fish at the Happy Valley Reservoir, however you will need to obtain a fishing permit if you don’t already have one. You can purchase one through book.tourmanager.com.au
Permits are reasonably priced and are available for 3 days, 10 days or annually.
The use of burley is not permitted and only rod and reel fishing is allowed, no nets.

Location
We are located on the Southern side of the Reservoir. The closest carpark entry is on Chandlers Hill Road, at the roundabout connecting Chandlers Hill Road to Kenihans Road. From the carpark, follow the boardwalk down to the shoreline and you will see us at the waters’ edge.
