Wild Pack Kayaks is a local business venture which came about as a result of our passion for the natural environment, fun, adventure, family time and fitness! We wanted to start a business that makes both us and our customers happy.
When we gave it some further thought, we realised we can do so much more!
Our aim is not just to hire kayaks, but to build a community! We want to bring people together of all ages and all backgrounds, get people active and having fun while exploring all that nature has to offer.
We are proud to support local businesses, our community and to promote environmental awareness and sustainability through the work that we do and the services we offer. We are keen to get the community involved and would love to see your participation in future events!
Our Vision
We have been coming up with some innovative ideas and activities that align with the Onkaparinga Councils 10 year vision for the community.
Over the next 12 months we aim to add a variety of group sessions tailored to people of all ages and abilities, young and old. We also aim to bring people together who may share the same interests. There are so many people in our local community who don’t know anyone and don’t know how to meet new friends, so we are keen to create some sessions that encourage people to mingle and get to know one another!
We are also keen to educate people about the Reservoir and the plants and animals who live there. We aim to commence running Eco Tours towards the middle of 2024.
Outdoors is good for the soul and the fresh air cleanses and calms the mind, allowing you to re-centre. For those who find nature soothing, we have a surprise coming soon so watch this space!
Supporting Local Business
Our kayaks have been manufactured here in SA by local business Camero Kayaks. Camero Kayaks are proud to manufacture the most durable kayaks in South Australia and they put them through the most vigorous testing before leaving the showroom. With a 20 UV rating and 20 Year Warranty.
We work closely with local family business, Signature Coffee who also operate at the Happy Valley Reservoir. Anne and her team offer amazing coffee and other delicious treats. We are currently working on some projects together which we hope to roll out soon!
For our signage and sticker logos we are pleased to work with Reynella based company Vital Signs. Vital signs love to create and guarantee a high quality of work. They have been amazingly easy to work with!
